Treat birds with 2 tablespoons daily or add ½ cup per pound of feed. Omega Mix is intended for adult chickens (not chicks), but is also good for turkeys, ducks, and geese. Always offer free choice grit to birds fed this product and provide fresh, clean water at all times.
Serving size: 2 tablespoon per bird per day, ½ cup per pound of feed

When the garden wilters away, THIS is the kind of supplement I like to give my flock. I've tried all sorts of powdered supplements. They may provide the supplements they need but I would much rather see my flock excited about their food. I set up several "stations" so they all get the yummy goodness. I included pictures of three of my "stations", one of which, a smaller sized portion, is for my geriatrics - my duck, Goose, is 9 years old and her three buddies, Old Girl, Mabel and Mildred are 10 years old.

Grubblies are a healthy snack of ethically sourced, oven-dried black soldier fly grubs. Omega Mix is a variety of nutrient-dense ingredients that can be used as a daily feed topper or a snack.
Both provide positive nutrition & benefits. Grubblies pack that extra calcium and protein punch and are rich in lysine—essential nutrients that aid in feather growth which is great year-round, but especially beneficial for your girls during molting season and colder months. Omega Mix is bursting with antioxidants, trace minerals, and omegas—key nutrients for healthy, omega-rich eggs.

It depends on the quality of feed, so it’s best to always consult your veterinarian for full nutritional recommendations. If using a high-quality feed like Fresh Pecks, we recommend supplementing and snacking between 10-20% of their diet.

We’re committed to a natural approach for naturally healthy chickens. Omega Mix is all-natural, meaning no synthetic or artificial ingredients. It is also free of additives, animal byproducts, and GMOs (However, we do not hold a non-GMO certification from the non-GMO Project.)
Omega Mix contains grubs and there are no black soldier fly grub farms that grow organic grubs. Black soldier fly grubs are grown on fruits, veggies, and grains from farms, restaurants, and grocery stores that would normally go to waste. These pre-consumer products are non-organic, therefore, our grubs cannot be considered organic. However, you can rest assured they are fed a healthy, balanced diet that never includes post-consumer waste, animal byproducts, or farm manure.
