• What birds can be fed Fresh Pecks All Flock?

  This product has been specifically formulated for chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and pheasants and is not intended for other species. Feed free choice as a complete diet from hatch through maturity for chickens, ducks, and geese. Feed from eight weeks through maturity for turkeys and pheasants. When feeding a mixed flock, provide chickens grit and calcium in separate containers.  

• Why do my hens need supplemental calcium?

  Egg laying is a calcium intensive process. Providing a free choice calcium supplement in a separate container will ensure your gals maintain the calcium levels needed to lay strong, healthy eggs.

• Should I feed my chicks Little Pecks Starter Grower or All Flock?

  While All Flock can absolutely be fed to chicks, if you don’t have a mixed flock, we recommend Little Pecks Starter Grower feed as it has higher amounts of protein and fat to help young chicks grow and thrive.

• How does Fresh Pecks feed compare to other feeds?

• I have a rooster in my flock, should I use Fresh Pecks Layer Feed or Fresh Pecks All Flock?

  We recommend All Flock for mixed flocks! Always provide free-choice calcium in a separate feeder for laying hens.

• Is Fresh Pecks organic?

  No, Fresh Pecks is not Certified Organic. Grubbly feeds are made with non-GMO foods. Rather than using traditional protein sources like soy or fishmeal, Grubbly feeds are made with sustainably grown black soldier fly grubs. Our grubs are naturally harvested (no hormones, pesticides or funky byproducts) and help reduce food waste from landfills. • Does it have niacin to help ducks?

  Yes! All Flock feed is formulated with 37 milligrams of niacin (vitamin B3) per pound. If your ducks need extra niacin, brewer's yeast is a great supplement to their diet.
